thereafter, I really became aware that it was sink or swim. So here I am, all these years later, swimming through life with a lot more knowledge under my belt! If I only could have known then what I know now, but, hey, learning is half the fun!  My special needs child, Jared, was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. This ultimately led to a heart transplant at his young age of 4 months. We were blessed with almost 25 years filled with life's wild rides of both conventional and holistic medicine that each gave us so much extra time with Jared and his wisdom, which was beyond that of any human I have ever met, reflected it. After Jared transitioned, he started talking to me almost immediately through spirit, but I did not believe it. He had to pound it into my mind, telling me, "Mom, I am your teacher now!" My relationship with Jared is so different now, but I cannot describe how it feels to still hear his laugh, his wisdom, and even his sarcasm at times. Our departed loved ones are so close to us; we just need to meet them in the middle, in the peace and quiet that our daily life doesn't often have.  You can create that quiet, however, and your loved ones (and animals) want you to!  My passion now has been assisting people and animals with coaching sessions. Prior to my son's transition, I worked with animals for most of my adult life. When I started hearing him say to go back to the animals and telling me what they needed, I had to follow his guidance. This lead me to pursue Animal Reiki, which is now one of my favorite services I offer! I also love helping people understand what their animals are trying to communicate to them. Animal grief can run so deep, so I am thankful that I can assist not only animals, but their families. I always feel more applied knowledge is power, so I continue to add to my toolbox in this 'Earth School' we are living. My education and certifications are as follows:
